Our Approach to Hatha Yoga
The Integral Yoga® approach to Hatha Yoga emphasises non-competition and inner awareness.
Integral Yoga Hatha classes offer an integrated experience that includes many traditional Yoga practices in addition to asana (Yoga postures), all designed to help the body, emotions and mind to return to their natural state of good health and balance.

Our classes are really moving meditations, where form in each asana is important but the primary focus is on being present and open to experiencing our innate peace, joy and vitality. Initially classes involve a specific sequence of Yoga postures and practices suitable for men and women of all ages and levels of fitness and flexibility. We begin gently then each student is encouraged to progress at her or his own pace.

The main practices in an Integral Yoga Hatha class include:
Yoga postures or asanas to encourage the body through its full range of natural movement, help to balance and bring good health to all our bodily systems and build flexibility and strength in both body and mind
Deep relaxation where body & mind can profoundly relax and recharge
Yogic breathing practices to energize, cleanse and balance all levels of our being
Meditation to help connect us with our natural inner peace and freedom
